AGE Wind Tools — Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy

Effective Date: 12-5-2025

Applies To: All AGE Wind Tools branded hand tools and related hardware (“Product”)

1. Warranty Coverage

AGE Wind Tools (“AGE”) warrants that each Product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the Product’s Lifetime (as defined below).

This Warranty applies only to Products purchased new from AGE or an authorized AGE distributor.

If a covered defect occurs, AGE will, at its sole discretion:

Repair the Product, or
Replace the Product with the same or a functionally equivalent model.

This Warranty replaces and supersedes all other express warranties for the Product.

2. Definition of “Lifetime”

For purposes of this Warranty, Lifetime means:

The useful life of the Product under normal, intended use by the original purchaser, for as long as AGE continues to manufacture or support the Product.

This Warranty does not guarantee that the Product will function indefinitely.

It guarantees only that defects in materials or workmanship are covered during the Product’s expected service life under typical field conditions.

3. Warranty Exclusions

This Warranty does not apply to any damage, failure, or condition resulting from:

A. Normal Wear & Tear

Surface scratches or cosmetic changes
Dulling, abrasion, or finish wear expected from regular field use
Material fatigue consistent with long-term use of composite components

B. Misuse or Improper Operation

Including, but not limited to:

Overloading, prying, striking, crushing, or applying force outside intended tolerances
Use with incompatible machinery or unauthorized equipment
Improper cleaning, storage, or maintenance

C. Environmental or Chemical Exposure

Corrosive chemicals
Excessive heat, flame, or non-field laboratory conditions
Prolonged sun/UV exposure degrading polymer-carbon composites

D. Modifications or Unauthorized Repairs

Structural alterations
Machining or dimensional modification
Third-party repairs

E. Commercial Rental or Transfer

Tools resold, rented out, or transferred to someone other than the original purchaser are not covered.

F. Other Non-Covered Items

Prototypes
B-stock or “as-is” tools
Custom-engineered one-off components
Consumables not intended for lifetime service

4. How to Obtain Warranty Service

To submit a warranty claim, the purchaser must:

- A written description of the defect
- Clear photographs or video showing the issue
- Proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or order number)
If requested, ship the defective Product to the following address:

Unless otherwise required by applicable law:

Customer pays for shipping the Product to AGE.
AGE covers shipping back to the customer for repaired or replacement items.

If the defect is confirmed, AGE will provide the remedy described in Section 1.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

AGE is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including lost labor time, job-site delays, lost revenue, or equipment downtime.
AGE’s maximum liability under this Warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the Product.
No employee, dealer, or representative is authorized to alter or expand this Warranty.

Some states do not allow exclusion of incidental damages; where prohibited, these limitations may not apply.

6. Non-Transferability

This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners or users.

7. State Law Rights

This Warranty grants specific legal rights. Additional rights may vary by state.

Nothing in this Warranty restricts rights provided under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act or other applicable consumer-protection laws.
